Your resin bottle cost and size
Check the price you paid and the bottle size in ml — usually 500ml or 1000ml. Find this on the bottle or your receipt.
How much resin your print uses
Your slicer software (Chitubox, Lychee etc.) will show the estimated resin usage in ml before you print.
Your print time
Your slicer estimates this — or time your print manually. Enter it in hours.
Your electricity rate
Check your energy bill for your rate per kWh. UK average is around £0.28/kWh. Your printer wattage is usually in the manual or on the label.
Your packaging costs
Add the cost of boxes, tissue paper, bubble wrap — whatever you use per order.
It calculates your true print cost
Material + electricity + packaging + a buffer for failed prints — your real cost per print, not just the resin.
It applies your platform fees
Select Etsy, eBay, Shopify, Direct or Custom. Fees are applied to your selling price automatically.
It shows your actual margin
Enter what you are charging and see your real profit and margin instantly. Adjust your price and watch it update in real time.
It recommends a selling price
Use the target margin slider to set the profit you want — the calculator works out what you should charge to hit it.
